Job summary

Mercy Health Life Flight Network seeks a Critical Care Transport Nurse to deliver prompt emergency nursing care for patients transported by the network. You will assess, plan, organize, document, and evaluate care with a partnering provider, while acting as a representative to the community and EMS.

The role covers patients across all ages from neonate to geriatric, with potential progression toward rotor wing cross-training where openings exist.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Ohio RN license.
• CAMTS approved advanced certification or obtain within 18 months.
• BLS, ACLS, and TNCC/ITLS/PALS/NRP within specified timelines.
• Minimum 3 years of professional nursing in critical care with 1 year in emergency care.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care for Mercy Health Life Flight patients.
• Assess, plan, document, and evaluate patient care with another provider.
• Represent Mercy Health to the community and EMS; educate professionals.
• Care for patients of all ages; neonatal to geriatric; potential rotor wing cross training.
