Qualifications

• Required High School Diploma/GED.
• 2 years Working as an EMT in the pre-hospital setting (preferred).
• 2 years Operation of a motor vehicle (Required).
• EMT certification - NREMT Indiana; BLS - American Heart Association.
• Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Administer CPR and use AED in pre-hospital setting.
• Constantly assess patient en route and provide necessary care.
• Operate within scope of care defined by regulatory agencies.
• Manage general medical complaints (AMS, respiratory, cardiac, diabetic).
• Report observations and care verbally and in writing.
• Restock and replace used linens, blankets, and other supplies.
• Search for medical identification emblems to guide care.
