Job summary

The Indiana University Health Lifeline ambulance service in Bedford, IN is seeking a full-time EMT to provide immediate emergency and non-emergency care and transport to the hospital. You will perform basic life support, CPR, AED, and splinting, and operate in a hospital-based advanced care ambulance setting as required.

Qualifications

• Indiana EMT certification required or national certification with Indiana eligibility within 30 days.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Respond in an emergency medical vehicle to the scene of reported emergencies and transports.
• Provide immediate basic life support care at scene and enroute to hospital.
• Perform CPR, AED use, and bone splinting as needed.
• Perform specialized life-sustaining procedures in a hospital-based advanced care ambulance service.
