Job summary

Beacon Health System Transport Team in Indiana seeks an EMT to perform approved emergency procedures and provide high‑quality patient transport under medical supervision. You will assess and stabilize patients, operate radios and GPS, maintain equipment and logs, and communicate with referral hospitals to ensure seamless care.

Under the Medical Director and ALS committee, you will complete required trainings (BLS, PHTLS, S.T.A.B.L.E.) and stay current with state EMT certifications while

Qualifications

• Indiana or Michigan EMT certification required.
• NREMT certification preferred.
• One year EMT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide EMT care and transport for patients with various conditions.
• Maintain patient records and documentation.
• Operate two-way radio and GPS systems during transports.
• Maintain equipment and vehicle readiness for daily use.
