Cooper Norcross Health is seeking a Critical Care Tech for the Coronary Care Unit in Camden, NJ. You will assist patients with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and point-of-care testing under RN supervision, ensuring safety and high-quality care.

Responsibilities include documentation and communication with the healthcare team. Requirements include 0-2 years of experience, a high school diploma or GED, and completion of Patient Care Technician training

Formación

• 0-2 years of experience required.
• High School/GED required.
• Successful completion of Patient Care Technician training and active Patient Care Technician Certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding, hygiene, mobility, transport).
• Perform phlebotomy, monitor vital signs, conduct point-of-care testing, and assist with EKGs and Foley catheter care.
• Identify and communicate changes in patient status to RN and respond appropriately.
• Reinforce education for patients and families regarding care needs and safety.
• Participate in patient satisfaction initiatives and quality improvement activities; orient new hires.
• Complete annual hospital and unit-specific competencies by due date.
• Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards to ensure safe environment and high-quality care.
• Communicate effectively with patients and visitors.
