Job summary

Intermountain Health Utah Valley Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for full-time shifts in Utah. The role delivers essential patient care, from daily living tasks to vital signs, while maintaining high-quality patient service.

You will document findings, monitor changes, and collaborate with RNs and the care team to ensure optimal outcomes in a fast-paced clinical environment. Required CNA certification with BLS, basic computer literacy, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Must hold Certified Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers is required.
• Demonstrated basic computer literacy skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• CNA certification must be obtained within 120 days of hire if not current; certification must be renewed if expired.
• Completion of Fundamentals of Nursing Course with passing grade within past two years.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care (toileting, bathing, feeding, ambulation) and respond to patient/family requests.
• Report and document patient care findings promptly and accurately.
• Monitor patient condition and report changes quickly, securing assistance as needed.
• Collaborate with RN and the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Perform duties within Scope of Practice and follow regulatory standards.
• May perform unit coordinating tasks (phones, orders, logs) as assigned.
• Support safety and emergency response procedures.
