Job summary

MetroHealth is hiring an RN for the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, a 24-bed unit with a bi-weekly 72-hour schedule (7a–7p); rotating weekends and holidays. Sign-on bonuses apply for qualified experience.

Responsibilities include EKG interpretation, central line care, Bi-PAP/HCFO support, and assisting with bedside procedures. Collaboration with PCNAs, providers, and therapists is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Ohio RN licensure.
• BLS certification or obtainable within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification or obtainable within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West).
• Interpret EKGs and manage central lines.
• Support with Bi-PAP, high-flow oxygen, and airway devices (trach/vents).
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation, and time management.
