• Administer aerosol medications and oxygen therapy; perform respiratory treatments per protocols.
• Operate and monitor respiratory equipment; collaborate with physicians on treatment plans.
• Document care data per CMS guidelines; may record physician orders for procedures.
• Educate patients on disease self-care and pulmonary rehab activities.
• Document and bill per CMS guidelines and AACVPR recommendations.
• Assist in transporting patients to the Pulmonary Function Lab and related procedures.
• Instruct RT students, staff, and families on respiratory procedures.
