Northside Hospital in Georgia is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to deliver care per physician orders and established protocols across adolescent to geriatric patients, including ICU settings.

The role requires an active Georgia RRT license and current BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, with the ability to operate ventilators and perform arterial sampling as part of a skilled respiratory care team.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory care program.
• Licensed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the Georgia Composite Medical Board in good standing.
• BCLS certification by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification by the American Heart Association.
• PALS certification by the American Heart Association.

Responsabilidades

• Performs respiratory therapy treatments per physician orders and established guidelines.
• Assesses patient respiratory status and recommends appropriate therapies.
• Interviews patients and families to gather care information.
• Maintains equipment levels and ensures departmental safety.
• Operates ventilators and manages patient care in ICU and other units.
• Performs arterial blood sampling and analyzes blood gas data.
