Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System in Georgia is seeking a part-time Respiratory Therapist to administer and coordinate therapy for patients across the life span, including neonates to geriatrics. You will chart treatments, communicate with the interdisciplinary team, and respond to critical care situations.

You will participate in huddles, maintain accurate EMR documentation, manage ventilator support, and contribute to safe care practices through the VOICE and unit practice councils.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in Georgia.
• Associates Degree required.
• Successful completion of registry examination.

Responsibilities

• Communicate patient care updates to the interdisciplinary team and physicians.
• Document treatments and medications in EMR and care records.
• Manage ventilator parameters for critical care patients and respond to changes.
• Provide patient education and follow-up care as needed.
• Attend huddles and participate in unit practice councils.
