Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an RN for the Surgical Trauma ICU (14 beds) at Navicent Health Medical Center. The nurse will provide comprehensive critical care, participate in safety initiatives, and support evidence-based practice in a high-acuity environment.

Must meet education and licensure requirements; BSN preferred. New to critical care may join the Critical Care Academy (CCA). A collaborative team and ongoing professional development are emphasized.

Qualifications

• RN will use nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities essential.

Responsibilities

• Engage in unit councils and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation.
