Job summary

Advocate Health in Winston-Salem seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Rapid Response Team to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute setting.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, follow evidence-based practices, and maintain required certifications. This part-time role offers 20 hours weekly with Tue/Wed/Thu 10:00 AM–5:10 PM, including a 30-minute meal break.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience in critical care or rapid response preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and adjusts care plans.
• Upholds a culture of safety and ethical care.
• Documents in the EHR accurately and timely.
• May float to other units to meet patient care needs.
