Job summary

UMass Memorial Medical Group is seeking an RN for direct patient care in a 36-hour schedule with a 7p-7a shift. The role emphasizes nursing process, documentation, and collaboration with the health care team in a 40-hour week framework with non-exempt status.

Sign-on bonus may be available; final offer based on hours, experience, and internal equity; working weekends and rotating holidays are required as part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS certification required for every RN; ACLS preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to plan, deliver and manage patient care.
• Assess and reassess patients according to standard procedures.
• Develop and coordinate individualized care plans including discharge planning.
