Job summary

Atrium Health's Carolinas Medical Center MICU in Charlotte, NC is a 29-bed unit delivering high-acuity care, including ARDS, sepsis, organ failure, and post-arrest support. Our team performs bedside procedures, manages vasoactive drips, ECMO, and life-support therapies while upholding teamwork and the highest standards.

We seek a skilled RN who completed an accredited nursing program, holds an RN license, and has BLS; ACLS within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Candidate must have at least 6 months RN experience; this position is not for new graduates.
• RN license issued by the state of practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year of inpatient RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum using evidence-based practice.
