Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina and BLS certified.
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Education - Identify learning needs and attend programs; assess readiness and learning factors.
• Evaluation of Care - Identify outcomes and liaise with interdisciplinary team.
• Implementation - Care for complex patients; perform bedside testing; follow policies.
• Leadership - Contribute to unit goals and collaborate across departments.
• Patient Assessment - Prioritize care needs and plan discharge considerations.
• Planning - Develop plans with the patient/family and coordinate resources.
• Research - Engage with journals and discuss applicable findings with the team.
