Job summary

UNC Health in Clayton, NC is seeking a Clinical Nurse for our 10-bed ICU/PCU unit. You will provide competent nursing care on a high-acuity unit, reporting to the Nurse Manager/Director, with orientation focused on ACLS, PALS, and core ICU training.

The position offers a 36-hour work week, night schedule, and a start window for Summer 2027 (June–August 2027). North Carolina RN licensure and BLS are required; no prior experience is necessary.

Qualifications

• Graduation from school of professional nursing is required.
• Licensed to practice as an RN in North Carolina by the day of clinical care.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification required.
