Job summary

St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, NH is seeking a registered nurse with critical care experience to support Emergency Department and Cardiac Cath Lab services.

You will provide professional nursing care, document thoroughly in the EHR, and respond rapidly to alarms while collaborating with providers to ensure patient safety. The ideal candidate holds an NH RN license (ASN/BSN preferred) and BLS; ACLS and PALS are valued.

Qualifications

• Current New Hampshire RN license required.
• Graduate of an approved Nursing program strongly preferred.
• 3-5 years Critical Care Experience preferred for Cardiac Cath/Angiography Lab.
• ASN required, BSN preferred.
• BLS required.
• ACLS preferred for all critical care RN roles.
• PALS preferred – required prior to completion of orientation for Urgent Care and PACU.

Responsibilities

• Renders professional nursing care to patients within an assigned unit, in support of medical care directed by medical staff.
• Completes comprehensive clinical documentation and care plans in the EHR.
• Responds quickly to patient monitoring alarms and initiates appropriate actions.
• Participates in unit governance and collaborates with other departments to ensure safe care.
• Demonstrates knowledge of current practice standards and HIPAA compliance.
• Provides care across ED, Cardiac Cath Lab, and related units, including during emergencies.
