Job summary

Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, NH is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the cardiac care team. The RN demonstrates independence in planning, organizing, administering, and evaluating patient care per NH Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.

You will work across observation area, cardiac cath lab, and holding areas, providing assessment, safe med administration, and education. Requires NH RN license, ADN, ACLS, and BLS within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 90 days of employment start date.
• BLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• NH RN license required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, administer, and evaluate patient care per NH Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Assess and care for patients undergoing cardiac procedures in A, B, and C areas.
• Respond to cardiac emergencies and ensure safe medication administration.
• Educate patients and families and provide discharge planning.
