Job summary

AdventHealth in Tarpon Springs, FL is seeking an experienced RN to join our day shift on a full-time basis. You will assess patients, develop care plans, and coordinate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

You will educate patients and families and participate in discharge planning while adhering to unit standards and core measures. Required RN licensure with BLS certification; 2+ years of PRN RN experience or 1+ year RN experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Excellent human relations and oral/written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and analyze health status of patients on the assigned unit.
• Complete initial and ongoing patient assessments per policy timelines.
• Develop and update individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients and families.
• Coordinate care with the health care team and document interventions and outcomes.
• Educate patients and families and participate in discharge planning.
• Contribute to performance improvement and adherence to core measures.
