Loretto Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care department in Chicago, IL. Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited or approved school of nursing.
• Current RN License for the state of IL.
• One year of medical surgical or critical care experience required.
• The RN must be knowledgeable of current nursing practices.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• ACLS required within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Utilizes evidence-based practice in the delivery of patient care.
• Participates with quality initiatives, research or evidence based activities.
• Assumes responsibility for seeking data to support care given.
• Demonstrates the use of nursing process in analyzing patient condition and implementing the plan of care.
