Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing within 3 years of hire.
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience in Telemetry, Stepdown, or ED.
• Current NJ RN License required.
• BLS and ACLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides considerate, respectful nursing care focused on patient needs and satisfaction.
• Documents assessment findings, care plans and patient progress per policy.
• Administers medications following hospital policies and manufacturer instructions.
• Recognizes patient condition changes and responds to emergencies.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team and participates in quality improvement.
• Supports unit operations and serves as resource nurse when needed.
