CentraState Healthcare System, Inc. in Freehold, NJ is seeking Per Diem Registered Nurses for our CCU and Stepdown Units.

The 16‑bed ICU/CCU and 10‑bed Stepdown unit care for a high‑acuity population with diverse conditions, offering pathways from Telemetry or ED into advanced critical care. The role requires a NJ RN license, BLS and ACLS, 2+ years in critical care, and completion of required certifications within designated timelines.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required within 3 years of hire.
• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience required.
• Current NJ RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Stroke education within first year and maintained thereafter.
• CSMC IV certification within first year and maintained thereafter.
• Specialty professional nursing certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide culturally sensitive nursing care in accordance with ANA standards and hospital policies.
• Complete nursing history and baseline assessment; document in medical records.
• Analyze patient information to determine nursing diagnoses and care needs.
• Administer medications following policy and manufacturer instructions; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans.
• Promote patient and family involvement in care planning and education.
