Job summary

Prisma Health Heart and Vascular Institute Cardiopulmonary ICU in Richland is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in a critical care setting. The role involves clinical leadership, evidence-based practice, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.

The unit supports complex cardiovascular care and may require weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage. A sign-on bonus of $5,000 is available for external candidates.

Qualifications

• Education - Associate degree in Nursing. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience - One (1) year experience as a registered nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to assigned patients consistent with the established nursing plan.
• Collects data and completes nursing assessment using appropriate standards/policies and tools.
• Develops and updates the plan of care in collaboration with patient/family and interdisciplinary team.
• Ensures patient safety and reports changes in condition to the care team.
• Performs duties within RN scope of practice and adheres to hospital policies.
