Job summary

Prisma Health Richland Hospital NSICU is a 16-bed unit caring for critically ill neurological patients. The RN works with a multidisciplinary team to monitor patients, update care plans, and ensure safe transfers and discharge planning.

This role requires an RN with current licensure and at least 1 year of experience; an Associate degree is expected, with a BSN preferred. Day shift in Richland, SC, with opportunities for professional growth and education.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Experience: One year of RN experience.
• Licensure: Current RN license.
• In lieu: Prisma Health Nurse Residency or 1 year of LPN experience for internal candidates.

Responsibilities

• Collects data and completes nursing assessment.
• Develops an individual plan of care with patient/family and care team.
• Updates the care plan as patient condition changes.
• Plans for discharge to ensure continuity of care.
• Provides direct patient care per established nursing plan.
