Job summary

MetroHealth's Main Campus- Glick unit is hiring a Registered Nurse for the 7 West Critical Care Step Down Unit. The role features rotating shifts (7a-7p/7p-7a), weekends and holidays, with 72 Bi-weekly hours.

You will care for patients with CHF, COPD, DKA, and Sepsis, performing EKG interpretation and bedside procedures while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Qualifications include Ohio RN license, BLS, ACLS, and ICU-relevant experience; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio.
• AHA BLS for the healthcare provider certification or within 90 days.
• ACLS certification or within 6 months of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications on hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide care on a 14-bed Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West).
• Interpret EKGs and monitor complex patients with telemetry.
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Manage airway support (Bi-PAP, high-flow, Trach/Vents) per protocol.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers, and therapy staff.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation, and time management.
