Kindred Hospital Central Tampa is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to manage ventilated patients, perform ABG analysis, and participate in multi-disciplinary rounds. The role requires careful documentation and adherence to respiratory care protocols in a long-term acute care setting.

You’ll collaborate with physicians and nursing staff, provide patient and family education, and support ongoing training for new staff and students. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Completion of an accredited respiratory therapy program (certificate/diploma or associate).
• Active licensure as an RCP upon hire; CRT/RRT preferred.
• BCLS and ACLS required upon hire or within facility timeframe.

Aufgaben

• Administer respiratory care per physician orders across hospital areas.
• Monitor ventilation, ABG sampling and analysis, and chamber equipment.
• Document care plans and charge capture accurately.
• Provide patient/family education and participate in rounds.
• Assist in airway management and wean patients per protocol.
• Precept and train new staff and students.
