Kindred Hospital Central Tampa is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide safe, competent respiratory care, monitor ventilation, and perform ABG collection and analysis.

You will document care, manage devices, participate in rounds, and educate patients and families. Requires RCP license, ACLS/BCLS, and 1+ year of related experience preferred; strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Postsecondary respiratory therapy training (Cert/Diploma/Grad) from an accredited program; required.
• Associate's Degree in respiratory therapy from an accredited program; required.
• License: RCP in-state; CRT or RRT credential preferred; BCLS and ACLS required.

Responsabilités

• Administer respiratory care per physician orders and monitor ventilation.
• Document procedures and maintain patient care plan elements.
• Verify physician orders and operate respiratory equipment.
• Perform airway management and suction techniques as needed.
• Wean patients from ventilators per protocol and assess readiness.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and provide teaching to patients/families.
