Marshall Medical Centers is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care across critical and general care areas. The role includes performing EKGs, ventilator care, and patient assessments, while collaborating with physicians and the care team to implement care plans.

Required NBRC and Alabama licensure with 1–2 years of clinical experience in critical care. BLS/ACLS are required; PALS/NRP preferred. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for high-quality patient care.

Competenze

• Must have NBRC and Alabama State Board of Respiratory Therapy licensure.
• BLS and ACLS required before end of orientation; PALS/NRP preferred.
• 1–2 years clinical experience in critical care settings is preferred.

Mansioni

• Perform respiratory assessments including status, history, vitals, oxygenation.
• Develop and implement respiratory care plans with patient, family, and care team.
• Manage EKGs, vent systems, bronchodilator therapy and ventilation strategies.
• Document findings accurately and communicate plan at shift changes.
• Provide education to patient/family and maintain compliance with departmental policies.
