Job summary

Qualifications

• NBRC registry certification and ASBRT license required, BLS mandatory, ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years experience in respiratory care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs respiratory assessments and initiates therapy per physician orders.
• Manages ventilator equipment and respiratory medication delivery devices.
• Draws and analyzes arterial blood specimens; assists with ABG interpretation.
• Responds to cardiopulmonary emergencies and assists with interventions.
• Performs EKGs and other diagnostic tests as assigned.
• Collaborates with healthcare team on interventions, discharge needs and patient education.
