Job summary

STHS McAllen is seeking a licensed Respiratory Therapist to perform routine and intensive therapy, manage ventilator and life-support equipment, and conduct routine patient respiratory assessments in our Texas facility. Qualifications include Texas RCP license (RRT), BLS, ACLS, and within six months PALS and NRP; completion of an accredited respiratory program; and NBRC eligibility.

Qualifications

• Licensed by the State of Texas to practice Respiratory Care.
• Compliance with the Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.
• Maintenance of BLS and ACLS per AHA standards; PALS and NRP within required timelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and intensive respiratory therapy and diagnostic procedures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment.
• Ensure ventilator and life-support devices are operable.
• Provide routine respiratory patient assessments.
• Assist with invasive procedures such as ABGs and intubation.

Skills
