Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 0–1 year experience preferred.
• BLS, RRT preferred, NRP preferred, Massachusetts licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and assists with respiratory tests and procedures as ordered to deliver appropriate care.
• Responds to respiratory emergencies and transports ventilated patients as needed.
• Prepares care plans and makes recommendations to physicians; schedules treatments and provides consultation.
• Manages all aspects of respiratory therapy per policies and procedures.
• Performs bedside rounds and adjusts treatment plans according to patient response.
• Educates students and staff; supervises respiratory therapy students in patient areas.
