Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy with required certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, NBRC-RRT).
• 0-2 years of clinical experience, including at least 6 months in critical care.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, teamwork, assessment expertise, and computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered respiratory care and education
• Perform assessments, collaborate on care plans, and verify orders
• Manage ventilators, airway devices, and conduct diagnostic testing
• Mentor new staff and students, supporting professional growth
• Ensure safety and quality standards through accurate documentation and participation in quality initiatives
