Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors in Respiratory Therapy (preferred).
• Certifications: NBRC-RRT, Respiratory Care Professional, BLS, ACLS (all required upon hire).
• 0-2 years of clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and computer skills.
• Ability to establish collaborative relationships with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Delivering patient-centered respiratory therapies and assessments
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to plan and implement care
• Managing ventilators, administering medications, and performing invasive/non-invasive procedures
• Monitoring arterial blood gases and interpreting waveforms
• Educating patients, mentored staff, and students
• Promoting safety, quality improvement, and evidence-based practices
• Ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to policies
