Wellstar is hiring a Respiratory Therapist II to deliver complex respiratory care and medication administration in critical care settings. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring safety and quality throughout the care process.

The role emphasizes independent decision-making, patient education, and staff mentorship, with a focus on population-specific needs and professional development in a hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy or Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
• NBRC-RRT and RCP certifications required upon hire.
• BLS or ARC-BLS certification; ACLS or ACLS Instructor certification may be required.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient care and respiratory therapies per orders.
• Perform ventilator management, weaning and airway management.
• Educate patients and mentor new staff and students.
• Participate in quality and safety initiatives and chart/documentation.
