Job summary

This position provides patient care in critical care, step-down, and general care areas within Huntsville Hospital Health System. The Respiratory Therapist will assist in initiating and supporting mechanical ventilation and provide essential respiratory care services.

The role requires NBRC credentialing, state licensure, and completion of required certifications (PALS/ACLS within one year; BLS preferred initially). Weekend/holiday rotations may be required to ensure patient coverage.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed by the ASBRT and credentialed by the NBRC; CRT minimum; RRT preferred.
• PALS/ACLS required within one year; BLS preferred upon orientation.
• Weekend/holiday rotation may be required.
