Job summary

AdventHealth in Davenport, FL, is seeking a Part-time Respiratory Therapist to deliver comprehensive respiratory care, including oxygen therapy, aerosolized meds, and ventilator management. You will support rapid response teams and assist with bronchoscopy and capnography.

Qualifications

• 1+ years critical care experience
• NBRC credential required
• State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and NBRC credential maintained

Responsibilities

• Provides respiratory care to patients, including aerosolized medication, oxygen therapy, and ventilation.
• Draws, analyzes, and reports blood gas results; responds to rapid response and code blue situations; CPR as needed.
• Manages ventilators (invasive and non-invasive) and documents changes.
• Assists with bedside bronchoscopy and non-invasive capnography.
• Performs respiratory therapy treatments per physician orders and protocols.
• Participates in interdisciplinary rounds to impact length of stay and readmission rates.
