Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients of all ages with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions. You will administer therapies, manage airways and ventilation per physician orders and protocols, while collaborating with the care team to improve respiratory outcomes.

The role requires graduation from an accredited program and state licensure as RRT or CRT, with BLS certification. Hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
• State licensure as RRT or CRT required; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and implement respiratory care plans per physician orders.
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications and airway clearance treatments.
• Initiate, manage and wean mechanical ventilation and non-invasive support.
• Perform arterial blood gas sampling and diagnostic testing as ordered.
• Respond to Code Blue and rapid response events and assist with airway management.
• Document therapy and patient response accurately and maintain equipment.
