Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to deliver direct care to patients with cardiopulmonary conditions. You will perform diagnostics, administer therapies, monitor responses, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, effective treatment.

The role requires an Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy and an RRT credential; BLS is required, and ACLS/PALS/NRP are preferred or policy-dependent. Work is on-site in Rifle, Colorado across ICU/ED settings.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current RRT credential required.
• Current state RCP license, if required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications preferred or required per facility policy.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, nebulizer treatments, and other respiratory therapies.
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, and other respiratory equipment.
• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling, pulmonary function testing, and other diagnostic procedures as assigned.
• Respond to emergency situations, including rapid response and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
• Monitor patient response to therapy and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families regarding respiratory treatments and disease management.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with infection prevention, patient safety, HIPAA, and regulatory standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Current RRT credential

Current state RCP license (if required)

Current BLS certification

ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (preferred or required)
