Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. You will provide respiratory care to patients with acute and chronic conditions, including ventilator management and diagnostic testing.

The role involves direct patient care, collaboration with physicians and nurses, and education for patients and families. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP preferred.
• Current state licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, chest physiotherapy, and bronchodilator treatments.
• Initiate and manage mechanical ventilation and non-invasive support.
• Perform and interpret pulmonary function tests (PFTs) and ABG analyses.
• Respond to emergencies including Code Blue and rapid response events.
• Document assessments, treatments, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Educate patients and families on managing respiratory conditions and equipment.
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of respiratory therapy equipment.
• Adhere to hospital protocols, infection control guidelines, and safety standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.
