Job summary

Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy, under physician orders. You will consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness and serve as an advanced resource for medical staff.

Qualifications include graduation from a CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program, current RCP license, NBRC RRT credential, and PALS for ER staff. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• NBRC RRT credential required.
• PALS required for ER staff.
• Physical demands include lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs and other mobility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy under physician orders.
• Consult physicians on the effectiveness of therapy.
• Serve as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing staff.
• Perform duties as assigned by supervision.
