Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy based on physician orders. The role includes acting as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff, consulting on therapy effectiveness and performing assigned duties.

Required qualifications include graduation from a CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program, RCP license, and NBRC RRT credential, with the ability to perform physical tasks and operate respiratory care devices.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license, meeting state requirements.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC.
• Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs., kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
• Use of respiratory care devices.
• Preferred: ACLS certification, critical care experience, Emergency Room PALS certification.
