Job summary

MetroHealth Main Campus—Glick, a Critical Care Step Down Unit RN position on 7 West, involves caring for patients with CHF, COPD, DKA, and sepsis. You will interpret EKGs, manage central lines, assist with high-acuity procedures, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a 14-bed unit.

Position requires Ohio RN license, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and 1 year RN experience for PRN; rotating weekends/holidays with 7a-7p or 7p-7a shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Ohio RN licensure.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• ACLS certification or 6 months post-hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of RN experience.
• Certifications must be current on hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide care on the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West).
• Monitor hemodynamics with telemetry and assist procedures.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers, and therapists.
• Support bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies) as needed.
