Job summary

Midland Health is seeking a licensed pharmacist to ensure safe, accurate medication distribution and compliance with Texas regulations. You will advise healthcare professionals and supervise technicians to maintain high standards of care in a busy hospital setting.

Requirements include a PharmD or BS Pharmacy, active Texas Pharmacist license, and preferred specialty certifications. The role offers a full-time daytime schedule with occasional weekend coverage and a sign-on bonus opportunity.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree (BS Pharmacy or PharmD) required.
• Current Texas Pharmacist license.
• Certification in area of specialty (e.g., CACP, CNSC, BCNSP, BCOP, BCPS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmacological information to healthcare professionals and monitor drug therapy.
• Organize technicians’ workflow and verify preparation, labeling, entries and inspections.
• Ensure accuracy of orders and timely delivery of medications to the recipient.
• Maintain a safe, clean, compliant working environment in line with hospital policies.
