Job summary

Medical City McKinney seeks a Pharmacist to provide general clinical and operational pharmacy services, supervise technical staff, and support clinical programs. Duties include interpreting orders, compounding and dispensing medications, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates hold a PharmD or B.S. in Pharmacy from ACPE-accredited school, a valid Texas Pharmacist license, and 1+ year of acute care experience.

Qualifications

• B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Current pharmacist license in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
• 1+ years of Acute Pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Interpret orders and verify them into the pharmacy computer system.
• Accurately compound and dispense pharmaceuticals.
• Monitor drug therapy regimens for interactions and appropriateness.
• Provide medication information to staff and patients.
• Supervise technical staff and participate in clinical programs.
