Midland Health is seeking a licensed pharmacist to ensure safe, accurate medication distribution and compliance with Texas regulations. You will advise healthcare professionals and supervise technicians to maintain high standards of care in a busy hospital setting.
Requirements include a PharmD or BS Pharmacy, active Texas Pharmacist license, and preferred specialty certifications. The role offers a full-time daytime schedule with occasional weekend coverage and a sign-on bonus opportunity.
A pharmacist is required to comply with state and federal laws regulated by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy, Drug Enforcement Agency, and Food and Drug Administration. In doing so, a pharmacist must maintain records for controlled substances, remove outdated or damaged drugs from inventory, supervise the work results of support personnel, maintain a current registration, and stay up to date with current standard practices and laws.
