Job summary

Rx relief in Texas is seeking a Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care and join a team focused on patient safety and education. You will manage medication distribution and counsel patients on dosing, side effects, and adherence. The role requires a Texas Pharmacist License (active and in-good-standing) and a PharmD.

Hospital inpatient experience is preferred; residency is a plus. A background check, drug screen, and health screening are required.

Pharmacist Position Overview:

This is a great opportunity for a Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care. In this role, you'll be at the heart of integrated drug distribution, directly impacting patient health through effective medication management and education.

What You'll Do:

• Medication Distribution: Accurately filling and dispensing medication orders to ensure patients receive the correct drugs in the proper dosage.

• Patient Care and Counseling: Monitoring patient drug therapies to check for safety and effectiveness. A key part of your day will be spent counseling and teaching patients about their medications, including how to take them, potential side effects, and what to do if they miss a dose.

• Providing Drug Information: Acting as a reliable resource for drug information, answering questions from patients and other healthcare professionals.

• Supervision: Leading and directing supportive staff to ensure the pharmacy runs smoothly and efficiently.

What You’ll Bring:

• License: Active and in-good-standing Texas Pharmacist License

• Education: Pharm D

• Experience: 3+years of hospital inpatient experience. Residency training preferred

• Screening: Must pass a background check, drug screen, and health screening

• Competitive pay: $57.50 - $59.50 (depending on experience), relocation bonus available, sign on bonus possible, shift differentials apply

• Schedule: 6pm to 6am, 7 on 7 off Thursday to Wednesday and every other weekend

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $57.50 - $59.50 Per Hour
