Job summary

Premier Health is seeking a Patient Care Tech for the Critical Care Unit at Atrium Medical Center. The role requires assisting with basic patient care, vital signs, and daily activities under supervision of a nurse. Shift is 7:00am-7:30pm, full-time, 36 hours per week, 72 hours per pay period.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and obtain a BLS CPR certification. Current nursing students with one clinical rotation completed are encouraged to apply, with prior STNA/CNA training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS CPR certification required or orientation provided.

Responsibilities

• Check vital signs (temperature, heartbeat, breathing).
• Assist patients with mobility, dressing and meals.
• Collect samples (urine).
• Report changes in patient status to a nurse.
• Assist with ADLs, walks, and weight measurements; monitor vitals.
