Job summary

Premier Health Partners' Atrium Medical Center in Middletown, OH seeks a Patient Care Tech for the Critical Care Unit. Shift is 7:00am–7:30pm, full-time days, 36 hours/week, 72 hours per pay period.

Under nurse supervision, you monitor vitals, assist with ADLs, collect samples, document changes, and support the healthcare team to ensure safe patient care.

Requires a high school diploma or GED and a BLS CPR certificate; no prior experience required if training is met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Training as STNA/CNA/Patient Care Technician is acceptable.
• Willingness to learn CPR (BLS) during orientation if not already certified.
• No prior hospital job required if training is met.

Responsibilities

• Check vital signs, such as temperature, heartbeat, and breathing.
• Help patients move, get dressed, and eat.
• Collect samples like urine and report changes to a nurse.
• Assist with ADLs and basic patient care tasks.
• Support the care team to ensure safe, consistent care.
