Priority Ondemand in Falls Church, VA is seeking a Critical Care Paramedic to provide high-quality care during ground transport. You will work with a team to follow Critical Care Division protocols and collaborate with Critical Care Nurses to ensure superior patient care in transit.

The role requires completion of an accredited paramedic program, VA or National Registry Paramedic with VA orientation, and current ACLS/BLS/PALS.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma required.
• Completion of an accredited paramedic program.
• Completion of an approved emergency vehicle driving course prior to release from orientation.
• 3-5 years experience as a Paramedic in a high acuity EMS system; Crit Care experience preferred.
• Virginia or National Registry Paramedic with VA Paramedic orientation.
• ACLS current by orientation.
• BLS current by orientation.
• PALS current by orientation.
• CCP-C or CCP/FP-C certification preferred or obtained within 18 months.
• Unrestricted driver's license with clean history.

Responsabilidades

• Provide evidence-based professional patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Drive the ambulance as needed to support staffing and trips.
• Administer medications and IV fluids during transports.
• Operate cardiac monitors, ventilators, hi-flow, and IV pumps proficiently.
• Maintain unit readiness and supply par levels on the ambulance.
• Document patient information accurately in medical records.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and safe ambulance operations.
