Job summary

Trans-Care is seeking a Critical Care Paramedic (Ground) in central Indiana to deliver Advanced Life Support and expert patient care in pre-hospital settings.

The role requires CCP-C-Certification and licensure, ACLS, PALS, CPR, and a strong commitment to customer service while coordinating with EMS teams and facilities.

You will lead first responders at scenes, maintain equipment, complete accurate patient records and ensure compliance with state and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associates or higher preferred.
• Paramedic licensure / certification required; CCP-C preferred.
• CPR for Health Care Providers (AHA/ASHI/ECSI) required; ACLS and PALS required.
• Must have and maintain unrestricted state driver’s license.
• CCP-C or FP-C certification expected within six months; Trans-Care will assist.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality Advanced Life Support to ill and injured patients at the scene and during transport.
• Direct and coordinate first responders and EMS personnel at the scene.
• Maintain and operate emergency medical equipment and transport patients to appropriate facilities.
• Complete standardized reports for hospital and administration; document treatment and disposition.
• Maintain ongoing knowledge of paramedicine protocols and attend required continuing education.
